I’m so excited about this Labor Day weekend! Scott and I, as well as his mom, brother and their wives/finance’s are going on a little mountain getaway! We are going to Hot Springs, VA to stay at the Omni Homestead. I’ve never been but it looks beautiful and I’ve heard nothing but wonderful things. We are leaving our kiddo’s at my parents house. As much fun as I know we will have, I am going to miss them like crazy!
This shirt is so comfortable and perfect for Labor Day. It’s festive, modest and most importantly inexpensive! Like less than $10 inexpensive! I love a good deal on a quality shirt. This outfit is perfect for back yard bbq’s, a day out shopping for all the amazing Labor Day sales, or even just lounging around with your kids. You could easily pair this shirt with a pair of jeans or even a cute skirt. There are so many options. I decided to pair this shirt with a comfy pair of white chinos. Since you can’t wear white after Labor Day I wanted to get my last thrill. HAHAHA j/k You guys do know that you can definitely wear white after labor day. I certainly will be wearing my winter whites!!
How about darling Everly! Isn’t she just the cutest? I found her super cute gingham romper at Gap. It is no longer available, but they do have one very similar here. I’ve raved about her cute sandals on multiple occasions. They seem so comfortable for her to wear (I say this because she always wants to wear them). They also look very high end, but they were only $8. Perfect for a little toddler who will grow out of them in less than a few months. That’s if they aren’t broke or lost before then.
Below I’m linking everything I’m wearing as well as what Everly has on!
With the Nordstrom Anniversary sale underway it is exciting to find many affordable back to school clothes for kids. I was quite surprised at what I was able to find for under $25! Many great brands such as Nike, Toms, Adidas and some of the cutest little dresses I ever did see were over 50% off the original price.
I’m not one to spend a lot of money on kids clothes. Mainly for the fact that they will either be destroyed by dirt and food or because they will grow out of them within a day or two. Seriously though, does it not feel that way? So any chance I get to shop a great sale such as the #Nsale for affordable back to school clothes for kids I jump on it. It’s never to early to start shopping for back to school clothes, especially with deals like these!
Today is the last day to shop early access. You can shop early access by opening a credit or debit card with Nordstrom. I honestly was so anxious to get the sale items before they began selling out of sizes I needed I opened a debit card with them. It was easy, fast and I was able to grab many items I wanted. Tomorrow I’ll be posting about all of my favorite finds for Men (all under $50) and women (almost all under $50). Stayed tuned because this is a post you won’t want to miss!
My Picks for Affordable Back to School Clothes for Kids #NSale
The really cool thing about the #NSale is that these are not last seasons mark downs. All items that Nordstrom has for sale are the up and coming trends for this coming fall/winter. I really hope ya’ll take a minute to look at all the cute things they have on sale. What you see in the picture doesn’t even scratch the surface of what they have available.
